CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR
CONTRACT NO. 190090 – CSO 025 AND 026 SEWER SEPARATION PROJECT (DIVISION PR-C)
The project involves the construction of sewer pipes, manholes, and connection of existing sewer service laterals to the new sewer pipes to separate the combined sewer system discharging to combined sewer overflow (CSO) 025 and CSO 026 located in Georgetown, south of the Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) Canal, between Wisconsin Ave NW and 31st Street NW. The project also involves a modification to an existing combined sewer regulator also located in Georgetown. The procurement approach for this contract will be Design-Bid-Build with Best Value selection.
The work resulting from this contract will be subject to Fair Share Objectives for Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE and WBE). MBE and WBE objectives for construction services are 32 percent and 6 percent, respectively. The program requirements are fully defined in the U.S. EPA’s Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Procurement under EPA Financial Assistance Agreements – October 28, 2019.
